Francel’s Bio
Francel grew up in Orange County. He attended 13 different schools from Kindergarten to 12th grade, living in ups and downs all throughout that time; from motels, to homes, to living with relatives, and everything in-between.
Francel married his high school sweetheart, Sarah, shortly after they graduated, and before too long, they were living the "American Dream" together. They owned a home and new cars, and had four beautiful children. At a young age, Francel had already accomplished more than his father ever had. Despite this, they could not find fulfillment. With four kids at home, all under the age of five, Francel and Sarah quickly came to their wits' end. In this frustration, Sarah told him, “If this is going to work, we need to go to church!” Sarah had attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa for a short period of time as a young girl, so they started there. Over the next few years, Sarah came to know the Lord, and Francel followed shortly after, but neither were really connected to the church body; they knew they needed to find a church closer to home. That’s when they found Calvary La Habra. They began attending CLH in the late 90’s, and within weeks, they were serving in any way they could, attending midweek services, and participating in Friday night home fellowships.
Francel and Sarah have been serving in various areas of ministry at Calvary La Habra since the late 90’s, and in all they’ve done, their family has been their center. Francel and Sarah have been married since 1993 and have four adult children, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren named Saint and Bobby, all of whom they adore and love.
