Happy New Year

If you are like most people, you head into a new year with hope and expectations that it will be a great year for you and your loved ones. We set new goals, make resolutions, change diets, make new commitments with our time... all in an attempt to better our life in the new year.  

 But, as we begin to pursue our goals and expectations, we are faced with the reality of the unexpected. Each new year is filled with difficult, unexpected events that we would have never chose for our life. But none of these unexpected events surprise God. God foresees them and allows them for a greater purpose, which is His plan and purpose for our lives.

Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

 As we move into 2022, may we fix our hope and our expectations on God’s plan for our life. A plan that is clearly outlined in His Word.
