Continue To Pray For Ukraine
Continue praying for those affected by the senseless, satanic attack on Ukraine.
It can become quite overwhelming as we witness all of the darkness unleashed on our world these days. So it's good to be reminded that none of it takes God by surprise. God sees far more than we can ever see. God feels far more than we will ever feel.
Isaiah 53:3 speaks of Jesus as a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He weeps over a sinful world that rejects Him (Luke 19:41). He weeps over the effects of death (John 11:35). He is moved with compassion when He sees people in need, weary and scattered, like sheep with no shepherd (Matthew 9:35-36). We need to remember that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 3:18). He came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18). As Jesus sits on His throne right now, He sympathizes with our weakness, thus we can come directly and boldly to Him with our needs so we may obtain mercy and find grace in time of need (Hebrews 4:15-16).
(Psalm 73:23-28)
Nevertheless I am continually with You;
You hold me by my right hand.
You will guide me with Your counsel,
And afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish;
You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
That I may declare all Your works.
Love you and praying for you,
